The front tire has a large amount of transverse grooves that provide mechanical grip and water drainage.
The rear tyre combines steep and short grooves to provide complementary functions: the former improve traction on low-grip surfaces while the short grooves prevent lateral slippage and increase stability.

Passing on the corner, the shoulders of the ROADTEC™ 01 SE benefit from a full/empty radio that goes from 90% to a slick zone from 25° of angle, thus increasing the 84%-94% of the ROADTEC™ 01. Thanks to these developments, the ROADTEC™ 01 SE allows more rubber to be in contact with the ground at steeper angles to improve grip, handling and confidence.
